I would have no problem with famous alumni getting buildings named after them, Dr. Cade, Stephen Spurrier, and Senator Graham come to mind

I would agree with the idea of something after both teams (BTW Spurrier is upset that most of the starters from the 96 team are not coming to the reunion this season). Some schools change the speed limit to a famous players number.

As for the alumni and UF not taking us seriously, they never do on anything, no matter how realistic students are. For years, UF SG/AASU has struggled to get an Asian American Culture Director with little answers from the university. AASU went about it as professionally as possible (no gimmicks needed), but the university's answer is always we are looking into it or they play a if we do that for you then, the other minority communities will suffer to make sure the other communities don't support it.

No UF sadly knows that they can continue to ignore us, because there are thousands of people waiting for that spot

Can you please explain why Joakim Noah deserves a ...

Can you please explain why Joakim Noah deserves a road named after him?? Last time I checked there wasn't Steve Spurrier Ave or Danny Wuerffel Drive?? Moreover, I think every member on the '06 team would tell you, including Donovan himself, our National Championship wasn't because of J. Noah alone. It was about "team basketball..."

And the students really wonder why the administration and alumni associations don't take them seriously...

Maybe, just maybe-- think of some kind of tribute to both the '96 championship and the '06 and go from there. But naming a road after one player on a Cinderella run to the championship game doesn't seem to fit the bill.
